Whistler's most scenic patio - Table Nineteen Lakeside Eatery

Dec 19 2017, 7:08 pm

When you step outside of the village and explore this summer, you won’t be disappointed. Whistler has so much to offer after the mountains close for the season — which seems obvious — but some never stray too far from their hotel to discover more.

Newly named Table Nineteen Lakeside Eatery is connected to the clubhouse at the GolfBC owned Nicklaus North Golf Course and is one more reason to make the four-minute drive or cab ride from the village. The view from the patio and dining room is “wicked good” as the locals might say. But seriously, it is hard to beat the views of Green Lake and the stunning coast mountain range in the backdrop as you soak up the sun for brunch, lunch or enjoy dinner as it sets.

“You know why Table Nineteen is great? Because of the location, plain and simple,” said Michael Zuccolin, General Manager of Nicklaus North Golf Course. “The view over the lake and golf course is amazing from our huge patio! Nothing compares to it in Whistler. You will be entertained by Harbour Air float planes coming and going, by golfers playing the 16th hole and then by wildlife, which seem to always be buzzing by the patio! And the food is pretty awesome as well, along with probably the best drink prices in Whistler.”

As a golfer you get a sense of just how beautiful the patio is when you play past it on the third last hole, which is a timely reminder to visit after your round. It is NOT a requirement that you like golf or even play to enjoy yourself here and there is no clubhouse dress code, because it’s all about the experience; where casual meets elegance.
