Whistler's incredible 'snow walls' have returned (PHOTOS)

It’s no secret that Whistler Blackcomb gets a lot of snow.
And while the resort may be covered in white during the winter months, it can be easy to forget just how much snow is actually covering the ground when experiencing it on a pair of skis or a snowboard.

Now, with ski season over, visitors still have the chance to get a unique perspective on the amount of snow the resort received this winter, thanks to the “snow walls,” that currently exist in the resort’s alpine.
The trail itself is an access road that has been cleared of snow to the top of the Peak Chair, but the height of the walls on either side is truly a seasonal sight to behold.
For those who aren’t able to make it up for a hike themselves – or a maybe looking for just a little more inspiration to go check them out in person – those who have experienced this season’s snow walls are eagerly sharing their shots on social media.
