Where to recycle your Christmas tree in Metro Vancouver

Dec 20 2017, 3:23 am

The saddest time of the year to be a Christmas tree is when New Year’s is over and it’s time to chip up the holiday centre-piece.

Luckily, for the hearts and souls of trees galore, Metro Vancouver makes it quick and painless to dismember that precious pine. Whether it be Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir, a Noble, or the wondrous Fraser Fir, no one can commit Christmas tree-son and let their tree go cold and rotten in the backyard with the myriad of places to bid it a grand fare-thee-well.

If you’re stumped as to where to go, head to these locations during the month of January to drop off your tree and support numerous community charities – or should we say, “chari-trees”!

You didn’t laugh? Yeah, neither did we.
