What's Shaken: Vancouver Milkshake heaven

Dec 19 2017, 3:26 pm

What’s Shaken is a new milkshake bar that opened up on Davie Street in downtown Vancouver that is sure to bring all the boys to the yard. Their goal is to provide a delicious, fast milkshake treat served out of a modern and hip milkshake bar for people on the go. They have so many combinations to choose from and also make combos that you create on your own.

A big bonus to us lactose intolerant or vegan consumers is that they offer vegan options! They use Luna and Larry’s Coconut Bliss and almond milk. Coconut Bliss is just that, blissful. It also contains less than 10 ingredients and they are all words that we can pronounce and recognize. Bonus!

The folks at What’s Shaken wanted to provide Vancouverites with real ice cream milkshakes. They do not use soft serve and have a ton of goodies to put inside and make milkshake heaven. They wanted to shake things up from the old fifties style milkshake parlours and create something that us modern day folks can enjoy. Being located on the west coast, Vancouverites have a much healthier attitude so What’s Shaken makes sure to offer lots of fruit, veggies, supplements, vegan ice cream and almond milk. They also have dog treats too! They’re friends to us all.

They offer two sizes, a 9 oz. and a 16 oz., which is great because when you get a milkshake at a restaurant there is only one size: monsterous. It’s really great to have the option of just a snack size milkshake.
