Here's everything you can eat at Vancouver's first annual Ribfest

Summer might soon be over, but our appetite for drool-worthy fall-off-the-bone tender ribs hasn’t gone anywhere, so it’s a good thing a meat-centric event is going down this month.

Vancouver Ribfest is set to happen September 21 to 23 at the Plaza of Nations (750 Pacific Boulevard).

Ribfest has revealed the full line up of eats and drinks to Daily Hive, and we can safely say if you attend the inaugural event you will not leave disappointed or hungry.

The list of ribbers features four powerhouse smokers including the Crazy Canuck Smokers (Brantford, Ontario), Blazing BBQ (Calgary, Alberta), Big M’s Smokin’ Bones BBQ (Ontario), and Billy’s BBQ (Michigan, USA).

Other foodie draws include Lemon Heaven, Calgary Mini Donuts, Monster Ice Cream, Tator King (blooming onion and fries), and a craft beer garden.

Additional features include live entertainment on The Big Sticky Stage and fierce competitions like the Best Rack Competition and an all-new Ribbers Olympics.

Brought to you by Ribfest Canada, this group has run several successful events in Southern Ontario, and they are spreading that meat-loving party to the West Coast.

Entry to this event is FREE, food and beverage can be purchased for an additional cost once you’re inside.
