WestJet wins Christmas again, grants entire town's wishes (VIDEO)

Canadian airline WestJet has once again taken the spirit of the Christmas season to soaring new heights with their video showing how they made the wishes of one town come true.

Last year, WestJet checked off the wish lists of unsuspecting passengers, so they took it a big leap further this year and granted the wishes of an entire town in the Dominican Republic.

The airline set up a stand in the community of Nuevo Renacer where locals could talk to a Santa on a screen and share what they needed. Their needs were simple, but significant: A doll, a crib, a horse, or a washing machine.

WestJet brought in a Santa and sleigh full of the spirit of “Feliz Navidad” to give the Nuevo Ranacer residents what they’d asked for. But the best surprise of all was a playground for the local schoolchildren, who definitely needed a safe place to play, and a reason to get to school on time.
