A large, multi-million dollar home in West Vancouver’s British Properties neighbourhood has gone up in flames.
According to West Vancouver Fire and Rescue, fire fighters were called in at 1:30 a.m. to the large, 4,000 square foot residence on a corner lot at Chelsea Close. The home was undergoing renovations – no individuals were inside when the fire began.
However, fire fighters were unable to enter the home as the structure was deemed too dangerous. Instead, they focused on preventing the fire from spreading to nearby properties.
This is the third consecutive day a major fire has broken out in the Lower Mainland.
