New Year, New You. That’s what you said, right? Now it’s the beginning of February and you still haven’t saved any money from eating take-out less, visiting the mall 3 times a week or even dusted off those gym shoes you bought last year. Well luckily you read Vancity Buzz, haven’t sworn off using social media and are connected to people like me who have friends that look like this.
Meet Francis dos Santos of West Coast Fitness. Francis is an experienced fitness trainer that has logged more than 3,000 hours as a Personal Trainer. He is an extremely passionate and talented soccer player turned confident trainer that genuinely enjoys helping people discover their optimal well being. He works just as hard as he’ll make you work helping you reach your bodies full potential. “There is no better feeling to me as your trainer when I see my clients happy with the results I promised them from day 1.”
West Coast Fitness (WCF) operates with a strong team-dynamic. The team consists of Mike Dirks (owner), Tim Simpson and Francis. Working with an entrepreneurial focus, Tim & Francis work under the WCF name applying ‘Functional Training’ techniques. This technique focuses on natural daily movements amped up
incorporating a variety of push and pull movement patterns. They do not use machines and focus mainly on Speed and Agility, Core Activation and Push/Pull Strength exercises to engage their clients.
Using the WCF method, Francis will help you achieve greater strength, increase your metabolism, improve your body composition and enhance your athleticism all while maintaining a consistent energy for all of his clients. It’s his guarantee that you’ll have fun working together in a non-intimidating and comfortable atmosphere applying a proven approach to over-come challenging workouts thus keeping you focused on reaching your goal.
The guys at WCF love Vancouver and emphasize the importance of being involved in their community. Each month they enjoy inviting ALL of their clients, boot-campers, family and friends to take part in a group outing. This could be hiking the Chief in Squamish, a rock-climbing adventure, or even a visit to a local grocery store to take a tour led by a dietitian. It’s their goal to train and educate you to live a happier, healthier and more full life.
