Finally – The Wesbrook Village Festival is returning – but this isn’t any ordinary event.

Onlookers will get to enjoy free food and activities throughout the bustling boulevards of Wesbrook Village, which will be alive with family-friendly activities during the community’s seventh annual community festival on Saturday, September 9.

The following artists will take to the main stage with tunes and entertainment that will appeal to all:

  • Will Stroet, kids musician and star of the TV series Will’s Jams on CBC Kids
  • Dr. Strangelove, Vancouver’s favourite dance band
  • Beauty Shop Dolls, the vintage vocal trio
  • And more!

Shoppers can enjoy a sidewalk sale where local retailers and artisans will showcase new products with interactive games and contests.

Festival goers will also enjoy a free BBQ lunch and tasty samples from local eats and community retailers including Doughgirls Comfort Kitchen and Bakeshop, Freshii, and the soon to open Virtuous Pie (for vegan and vegetarian options). BierCraft Restaurant will also be hosting a Happy Hour Beer Garden.

For the young at heart, the Wesbrook Village Festival also features a kids zone, complete with face-painting fun, craft tables, bouncy castles and a swing ride.

Parking at Wesbrook Village is free and the community is on various bus routes including route 41. For more information on Wesbrook Village check out Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
