Grammy Award nominee and multi-platinum selling artist The Weeknd is coming to Vancouver this December.
The stop is part of The Madness Fall Tour, promoting The Weeknd’s upcoming album “The Beauty Behind the Madness.” Over the last five years, The Weeknd has made a name for himself as an innovative and mysterious creative persona, going so far as to avoid revealing his face for more than a year of his career.
Releasing three critically acclaimed mixtapes in 2011, it wasn’t long before he started making huge waves in the music scene. His single “Can’t Feel My Face” reached #1 on the Billboard 100, and there’s more hype every day.
Tickets go on sale August 28 to coincide with the release of The Beauty Behind the Madness, and can be purchased online.
Earlier this summer, The Weeknd were also in Vancouver to headline the FVDED in the Park Summer outdoor festival in Surrey.
