It has been cool over the past few days, but summer and its blasts of heat and sunshine are not over for the year just yet.
Environment Canada is forecasting clear skies in Metro Vancouver for the next seven days, with temperatures reaching the low-20s right by the water near the airport and in the mid-20s further inland.
Similar but slightly warmer conditions are expected in Abbotsford, Squamish and Whistler.
Forecasters say warmer than average temperatures can be expected across Canada this fall. In British Columbia, following a dry and hot summer, this also means below-average rainfalls.
