If you haven’t had a chance to get out and enjoy the summer weather in the city this week, don’t stress: the Vancouver weather forecast is calling for sunshine and warm temperatures to stick around right through the BC Day long weekend.

According to Environment Canada, the weekend will offer up sunny skies and temperatures that hover around the mid-20s during the day, and temperatures at night in the high teens.

That being said, there is a chance of rain in the forecast for Monday, but sunshine is still in the mix, with temperatures in the mid-20s as well.

If you are planning to head outside locally this weekend, be aware that an air quality advisory has been issued for parts of the Lower Mainland due to this week’s hot and sunny weather.

The warning was issued by Metro Vancouver and is in effect for eastern Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
