We Love Vancouver Video Contest

Dec 19 2017, 1:00 pm

In Response to the recent riot in Downtown Vancouver after the Stanley Cup Finals, Novus TV wants to turn the tide of the negative image being portrayed of Vancouver to the outside world and help rejuvenate the community pride and spirit.

The Volunteer Cleanup that occurred immediately after the rioting is what has inspired the  We ♥ Vancouver Video Contest and Vancity Buzz is proud to be the exclusive blog partner for this contest.

We ♥ Vancouver is an online Community Festival Video Contest where they want you to create visual pieces, whether it’s a video montage of photos/artwork, narrative short films, or even a video of yourself that tell us why you love Vancouver and what you think makes it a great place to visit, live, and party in.

Videos can up to 5 minutes in length and we’ll showcase them on this webpage, on our facebook page, YouTube Channel, and our TV Channel.

The Top 3 Videos will win Gift Certificates to The Bay

1st Place – $1000 Gift Card To The Bay
2nd Place – $500 Gift Card To The Bay
3rd Place – $150 Gift Card To The Bay

There will also be a special “Judges Award” for a 4th video which will receive a $100 Gift Card to The Bay.

We want to spread the word that a handful of hooligans can’t sully this great city and we want your videos to be the rally call.
