Vancouver is probably North America’s yoga capital and if you haven’t tried yoga yet I suggest that you give it a try, the benefits are immense (see our health and wellness segments here) and you’ll leave feeling calm and stress free. So end your busy work day in a tranquil West-Coast Canadian style: Waterfront Yoga at Canada Place. Connect the harmony of your inner self with the natural beauty of our city as you practice surrounded by Stanley Park, the North Shore Mountains and the Burrard Inlet.

Where: Canada Place, 999 Canada Place, Vancouver

When:  EVERY MONDAY and THURSDAY from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Classes run until September 19, 2011. Capacity is limited so be sure to come early to get your spot.

Who: The instructor for Waterfront Yoga at Canada Place is Tedi Martin (http://tedimartin.wordpress.com/) who teaches at Steve Nash Sports Club, Lululemon Head Office and Semperviva.

Cost: All classes are by donation. These karma classes raise proceeds for Strathcona Community Centre’s Food Security for Children program which helps to feed disadvantaged children on the downtown eastside.

Note: All levels are welcome. Don’t forget to bring a mat, water and your friends! Invite them now on Facebook. Please note classes are weather dependent and class updates will be made on our websites and here. Make sure to RSVP to receive announcements.
