After several days of relatively cool and damp weather, the latest forecasts for the South Coast indicate temperatures are set to soar again.
According to Environment Canada, the skies over the Metro Vancouver region will begin to clear up on Tuesday and the end of May will be marked by extended periods of sunshine and warm weather. Temperatures of up to 23°C near the water can be expected over the next few days.
Warmer temperatures of up to 27°C can be expected in the Fraser Valley, Squamish and Whistler.
Some coastal valleys and locations in the B.C. interior could experience temperatures near the 30oC mark.
