Metro Vancouver has experienced a taste of fall over the past week, but fall will not officially begin until Sunday when temperatures are expected to reach into the mid 20s.
According to Environment Canada, a high pressure system is rapidly growing and will bring temperatures to a high of 22°C by the water near Vancouver International Airport and 27°C further inland over the weekend.
However, the sunny and warm weather is not expected to last: a low pressure system will advance on Monday and persist throughout the week, bringing back rain and cooler temperatures – typical fall weather.
