Walk So Kids Can Talk: Kids Help Phone fundraiser

DH Vancouver Staff Apr 17, 2014 7:52 am

Our youth are our future, so it’s important that they get the full support they need for mental and emotional well being. Thanks to Kids Help Phone, kids who lack support in their social circle and want to reach out, will have an open ear and sound advice 24/7/365 days a year.

Walk So Kids Can Talk supports this essential service that goes towards this mental health initiative. Not all children are lucky enough to have someone to confide in, but Kids Help Phone provides free professional counselling services for kids across Canada ages 5 to 20.

All you have to do to help is sign up to join communities across Canada on May 4, 2014 for this positive cause. You can walk as an individual, but it’s much more fun to walk with a team, and it also makes fund-raising much easier and engaging. If you cannot walk, you can find other ways to get involved.
