Vancouver Short Film Festival 2012 - Call For Submissions!

Are you a mobile-savvy documentarian, filmmaker, or animator who wants to air your passionate view on fashion, culture, or world phenomena as you see it via film or video? The Vancouver Short Film Festival is calling all BC filmmakers to submit to the 3rd annual festival celebrating BC’s best short films.

The festival takes place at the Vancity Theatre on October 26 & 27. Last festival, 45 films were screened and over $18,000 in prizes was awarded. BC students and professional filmmakers who have made films from 2010 onward are eligible to enter. All professionals get an artist fee after screening, and this year we have a special deal for 5 students submitting from the same school – $100 for 5 films. Plus, your very own shot at becoming the best short filmmaker out there!
