The Vancouver Police Department are seeking witnesses of a weekend stabbing in the Granville Entertainment District.

VPD responded to a call just after 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning, February 15, when a fight was reported on the corner of Granville and Davie Street. A 26 year-old male with stab wounds was left on the scene while others scattered the area.

The victim was sent to hospital and is still recovering from his injuries.

A 27 year-old woman from Langley and a 29 year-old Surrey man were later arrested nearby, however, both have since been released with charges recommended.

Police are now looking for anyone who may have witnessed the stabbing and are asking them to contact police. They are particularly looking for two limousine drivers who were in the area and may have witnessed the attack.

Anyone with information is asked to call the VPD Major Crime section at 604-717-2541 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
