Vote for Greater Vancouver’s best builders, renovators and designers as they compete for the Ovation Awards!

Year after year, Vancouver home builders take home international awards for achievements and advances in construction, design, and sustainability.

Incorporated as a B.C. society 39 years ago, the Greater Vancouver Home Builders’ Association (GVHBA) has grown into one of Canada’s most prominent and influential home builders’ associations.

Comprised of developers, builders, renovators, suppliers, sub trades and related professionals, the GVHBA provides a variety of seminars, workshops, and networking opportunities to its 750+ company members. The organization’s website also offers consumers important resources about buying, building and renovating homes.

Last week, the GVHBA announced the finalists for the 2013 Ovation Awards, which honour excellence in the design and construction of new single-family and multi-family homes as well as the renovation of existing homes.

For the first time, a People’s Choice Award will allow the public to vote for their favourite new or renovated project.

People can vote for the GVHBA People’s Choice Award in two ways:

“Like” the projects/photos you want to see win on GVHBA’s Facebook page. You can vote for more than one project!
Visit the online contest page and register, where you can vote up to five times a day.

Ovation Award winners will be announced at the Awards Gala on Saturday, April 20.

Catch Sarah Gallop when she takes the HGTV Main Stage at the BC Home + Garden Show to talk about “Condo Living: Working with What you Got” on Thursday, February 21st at 7 p.m. and Friday, February 22nd at 4 p.m..
