Virtues of War Book Launch at Terracotta Restaurant

Dec 19 2017, 12:49 pm

One of the Lower Mainland’s hottest rising authors, Bennett R. Coles, is holding a book launch on February 17th. ‘Virtues of War’ is a brilliant military sci-fi novel and the first of a series that is on its way to being an international bestseller.

Bennett served in the military for 15 years and he wanted his novel to focus on the realism of war. Having witnessed the atrocities, particularly with children of war, Bennett decided to donate a percentage of the proceeds to War Child Canada. His first donation was given on January 14h.

“War Child has always relied on individual support to continue the programming that reaches hundreds of thousands of children and their families each year. The support of Bennett Coles through Virtues of War is an outstanding example of what people can do using their own skills and experiences to make a real difference in the world,” says Emma Cosgrove, Manager of Stakeholder Relations for War Child Canada.

Bennett is already writing his second, and much anticipated, novel ‘Casualties of War’.

The launch will be held from 5:30-7:00 pm at TerraCotta Restaurant at 52 Alexander Street. All guests will be served wine and Asian-infused hors d’oeuvres, and will be given a complimentary copy of the novel.

Virtues of War can be purchased at the Chapters in downtown Vancouver and in Langley in addition to Blackbond bookstores across the Lower Mainland.
