Victoria named as the world's third friendliest city

Vancouver did not make this year’s Conde Nast Traveler magazine’s list of the world’s friendliest cities, but the neighbouring city of Victoria was ranked third in the list.

It comes just ahead of Auckland, New Zealand and Melbourne, Australia, which both tied for first place. Only two North American cities made it to the friendliest cities list.

The ranking was based on the magazine’s reader generated reviews and also includes a flip side list of the world’s unfriendliest cities.
