The first-ever Vessi Footwear pop-up is coming to Vancouver this week

Last year, Vancouver-based startup Vessi Footwear brought the world’s first fully waterproof, knit shoe to life.

They’re light, breathable, and more importantly, they’re an end to heavy, outdated rain boots.

To celebrate their success, the company is taking over Vancouver’s Little Mountain Shop to host their first-ever pop-up.

The 850-sq-ft space is located on Main Street and will be transformed into a meet-and-greet-turned-customer-appreciation night later this week.

It’s a chance for the company to get to know their customers better, but also a chance for eager shoppers to try their shoes on in person and take a pair home. They’ll be bringing more than 100 pairs of their waterproof shoe to the pop-up, as well as a 15% discount if you purchase in-store.

“We’ll also be revealing prototypes of our latest model,” says Mikaella Go, co-founder of the company. “I can’t say too much, but it’s more meant for athleisure. We’ll have five new styles and colourways – all waterproof of course.”

“It’s the first time that people outside of our company will see the new designs.”

To top the event off, guests will be able to enjoy complimentary bites from Chickpea and Dipped Donuts.

Beverages from Nude Vodka and Four Winds Brewing Co. will also be available for a modest price, with donations going to Employ to Empower – a local organization creating opportunities for those living in the DTES.
