Canada's largest Veg Expo is visiting Vancouver this month

Get ready to enjoy one of the biggest natural food events of the year as the Veg Expo is coming to Vancouver’s Convention Centre.

The highly-anticipated vegan, vegetarian, and sustainable food event is taking place on Sunday, May 28.

Returning to Vancouver for its fourth year, the expo is set to feature more than 200 local and international exhibitors. This means you’ll be able to snap up some of the most original plant-based edible and innovative lifestyle products on the market.

Last year, more than 11,000 veg enthusiasts attended the show, breaking attendance records for previous years.

The venue for last year’s expo was slightly on the smaller side, but don’t worry because this year the event is being held at the much larger Convention Centre West venue, which is coincidentally one of the world’s most sustainable buildings.

This time you’ll be able to comfortably browse through the many aisles packed full of deliciously good vegan, vegetarian, and sustainable products – coupled with an incredible speaker lineup.

Featured speakers include author and registered dietician Brenda Davis, and David Carter the 300 pound Vegan and NFL Athlete who went vegan to heal his injuries. Throw in a performance from hip hop icon Maestro Fresh Wes, plus cooking demos to inspire you to make plant-based meats/cheeses at home, and you have an action-packed schedule.

But that’s not all. The Veg Expo isn’t just a tradeshow; it’s a celebration of spectacular foods, diverse activities, and entertainment, too. And don’t forget about the kids zone with slack lining from SlackLife BC. So, if you want to kick your feet up on a yogibo bean bag in the vegetation lounge or relax with massage therapy, then go for it.
