VanDusen Festival Of Lights extended through January weekend nights

Due to extraordinary demand, VanDusen Botanical Garden has announced that it will be extending its Festival Of Lights display on the first three weekend nights of January.

Over a million lights span through the twinkling gardens and interactive themed areas, and there’s even a miniature Eiffel Tower display in the middle of the garden.

“Festival of Lights was extremely popular so we’ve decided to keep the lights sparkling for a few more weeks so that visitors can enjoy them in a more tranquil atmosphere,” said Vancouver Park Board Chair Sarah Kirby-Yung in a statement. “The Garden is a great place for dates, family outings and to burn off a few holiday pounds!”

The light display with the Dancing Lights at Livingstone Lake will be open tonight (Sunday, January 3) until 9 p.m. Then from January 8 to 10 and 15 to 17, it will be open until 8 p.m., but without the Dancing Light show.
