Call it cliché, but New Year’s Day is the ultimate reset. Whether nursing a hangover, milking the last moments of the holidays, or getting a head start on resolutions for 2021, here’s what’s open and closed on New Year’s Day in Vancouver.

Not feeling all the leftover eggnog, turkey, or fruitcake?

Not to worry: A number of fast food and convenience store chains are still open on New Year’s Day, including Starbucks, McDonald’s, select Subways, Tim Hortons, and 7-11.
