As the inaugural MLS moves closer to ending, the Vancouver Whiteacps FC are gaining more and more momentum heading into the off season. As we all know they are about to move to their new home in the spaceship renovated BC Place downtown, ticket sales are high, their young prospects are playing well. Now the team and their fans have more to cheer about.
Last week’s MLS awards were recently announced and Whitecaps FC players brought home both awards. Midfielder Davide Chiumiento won the Goal of the Week award for his blast against the New York Red Bulls (if they had am Assist of the Week Award it would go to Camilo).
