Vancouver Whitecaps FC Fan Appreciation Festivities

The final game of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC  inagural season is this Saturday at Bell Pitch at BC Place and it is also Fan Appreciation Night. The match against the Colorado Rapids is set to kick-off at 4PM but the festivities start long before that.

Here is a breakdown of the special offers for Fan Appreciation Night:

• Fans with tickets to the game who are looking for a pre or post game meal can get a free appetizer with the purchase of an entree at Milestone’s Restaurants in Vancouver or Burnaby.
• ‘Caps Kickoff at Terry Fox Plaza get’s underway at 2PM with live music, player signing, face painting and more fun for the whole family. Be sure to stick around this area until just before kick-off to see the grande entrance of the South Siders as well.
• A pre game award ceremony will award the Player of the Year (vote online for this award now), Jock MacDonald Unsung Hero, Most Promising Player, Whitecaps Foundation Humanitarian of the Year awards. In a post game ceremony the Domenic Mobilio Golden Boot award will also be handed out.
• All Men’s replica jerseys will will be buy one get one free and all adult t-shirts will be marked down to $10.
• Post Match. 28 lucky fans will be chosen at random to go down to field level and receive the jersey off of the players back.
