Bear Creek Lights

Bear Creek Lights
What: The City of Surrey will host the 13th annual Bear Creek Lights from Nov. 7 to 21 at one of its most popular green spaces. Invite your friends and family to join you at Bear Creek Park’s one-kilometre garden walking loop.
The dazzling lights are crafted to enhance the natural landscape of one of Surrey’s most popular parks. The illuminated path is designed to be safe and accessible and can be walked at your own pace.
When: Friday, Nov. 7 to Friday, Nov. 21 (closed on Remembrance Day)

Vancouver Asian Film Festival
What: Canada’s oldest Asian film festival returns with over 90 films, panel discussions, workshops, networking, and more. This year’s theme is “Beyond Asian,” with filmmakers exploring genres from drama, comedy, sci-fi, experimental and more.

Bill Reid Gallery — Free Admission Day
What: The Bill Reid Gallery is named after the renowned Haida artist and is the only public gallery dedicated to the contemporary Indigenous Art of the Northwest Coast. The gallery is home to the Simon Fraser University Bill Reid Collection and also hosts a variety of special exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions, and more.
Guests can visit the Bill Reid Gallery for free from 2 to 5 p.m. on the first Friday of each month.

H Tasting Lounge’s Winterlust

H Tasting Lounge
What: Winterlust is once again taking over the stunning H Tasting Lounge’s patio. The event consists of five private translucent domes decorated with seasonal evergreen elements and Alpine-themed accents. Visitors will also enjoy views of the North Shore mountains and Coal Harbour.
Each dome can accommodate up to six guests and is fully equipped with heaters and fresh-air circulation to keep things nice and cozy. Additionally, each dome has an independent sound system, so you can enjoy your own tunes while dining.

Vancouver Canucks
What: The Canucks are back at Rogers Arena this week with games against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday, Nov. 8, and the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday, Nov. 9.

Whistler Cornucopia
What: Whistler Cornucopia is Whistler’s signature fall festival of food and drink, held every November. It’s known as the ultimate celebration of taste, bringing together chefs, winemakers, distillers, brewers, and food lovers for 11 days of culinary adventure.

What: Running from Nov. 1 to 16, the croissant crawl is a self-guided, limited-edition croissant tour taking place around the region.
This buttery and delicious event highlights some of the most creative and mouthwatering croissant creations from participating vendors, and organizers are excited for foodies to try them all.

Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience in Vancouver
What: A stretch of Stanley Park’s towering trees will be infused with a touch of magic. After dusk, the forest will glow with an otherworldly trail where wands are welcome, creatures stir in the shadows, and Harry Potter’s Forbidden Forest is brought to life beneath Vancouver’s canopy.

That’s Nasty! An X-Rated Comedy Show

Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Week

National Women’s Show
