This one-night-only event pays tribute to the iconic Panorama Roof and the legendary Dal Richards, whose orchestra made the venue the heart of Vancouver’s golden era. What: Greek Day on Broadway, presented by the Hellenic Canadian Congress of BC, will take place on Sunday, June 22.

The beloved celebration will feature a world of authentic Greek food and beverages from local shops and vendors, so bring your appetite. There will be souvlaki, spanakopita, loukoumades, and more.

There will also be plenty of vendors, community booths, and live entertainment to check out during the annual Greek Day.

Surrey’s National Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration & Wellness Event

What: The City of Surrey event is hosted by Semiahmoo, Kwantlen, and Katzie First Nations, and includes cultural sharing through art, music, storytelling, and dance. Special guests include XiQuelem, Jade Turner, Wild River Singers, and more.

Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival

What: Over 100,000 visitors and racers are expected to attend the city’s biggest Dragon Boat celebration. The two-day event will include the international dragon boat races and an expanded range of programming, and free concerts throughout the day.

What: The 9th Great Grandview Garage Sale is happening rain or shine on Saturday, June 21, throughout Grandview-Woodland in East Vancouver.

Over 100 sales in people’s yards, alleys, and driveways are expected for this year, with organizers expecting another big turnout of shoppers. Previous years even saw the total number of garage sale events nearing 200.

Anyone in the Grandview Woodland area is invited to set up a sale simply by registering online. There is no cost to do so, though donations are being collected to help with organization costs.

Slow Beer: The Bottle Episode 2

What: Dageraad is hosting a celebration of bottle-aged and bottle-conditioned beers, and you’re invited to the party.

The Bottle Episode is back at Dageraad Brewing on June 21, with 16 Lower Mainland breweries showcasing the world of bottle-conditioned and aged beers. Guests will sample over 45 different beers and learn all about the niche and nerdy beer styles the brewers love the most.

Dagaraad also announced that the event will have no tokens, with all beer included with a ticket to Slow Beer.

Vancouver Francophone Summer Festival 2025

What: Vancouver Francophone Summer Festival is hosting a huge lineup of concerts, and you don’t have to be a Francophone enthusiast to attend, either.

Some of the acclaimed performers in this year’s lineup include Missy D, Vallée Des Loups and Soleil Launière, and free outdoor concerts with Waahli and guests.

Bubble Fest at Capilano Mall

What: Capilano Mall’s Bubble Fest is a free, family-friendly event filled with fun activities and thrilling experiences for guests of all ages.

Learn all about bubble science with Science World’s Bubble Scientist, check out the live show by Ash Bubblez, visit the craft station and get your face painted, explore an immersive inflatable bubble dome, and more. There is even a bubble fest colouring contest for a chance to win a prize.

Cheers to Pride with Stoli Vodka

What: The annual ScotFestBC: British Columbia Highland Games, presented by the United Scottish Cultural Society, feature an extensive line-up of entertainers and performers, a whisky tasting, kids activities, a vendors village, food trucks, athletic competitions, and of course, pipe bands.

BC Halal Food Fest

What: BC Halal Food Fest is serving up tasty eats and cultural experiences at Holland Park in Surrey. The annual festival features free admission and over 100 food, drink, and bazaar vendors. There will also be carnival rides and live entertainment during the event.

40th Annual Vancouver Jazz Festival

What: The 40th annual Vancouver International Jazz Festival is returning to stages all over the city from Friday, June 20, to Tuesday, July 1.

The full lineup of events will be shared by the Coastal Jazz & Blues Society over the upcoming weeks. To get music lovers jazzed about this year’s fest, organizers announced the first two performances in this summer’s legendary lineup.

First up are headlining performances by Grammy-winning bassist and composer Richard Bona and his Asante trio on Monday, June 23, and world-class guitarist and composer Bill Frisell with Thomas Morgan and Rudy Royston on Tuesday, June 24.

What: Fairmont Pacific Rim’s Pac Rim Patio has returned for the summer season. What’s even more exciting is that it’ll be launching in collaboration with 33 Acres Brewing Co.

Located on the hotel’s front plaza, guests will enjoy great waterfront views alongside thirst-quenching brews, tasty bites, and a lineup of summer events.

This year, guests will be able to enjoy made-to-order tacos in varieties like chicken tinga with lime crema and queso cheese, slow-braised beef with pickled red onions, and crispy cauliflower with cilantro. These can all be paired with a selection of 33 Acres’ small-batch favourites, including its popular Sunshine French Blanche and 33 Acres of Life California Common.

Gastown Sunday Set

What: Inspired by global pedestrian-first movements, the new Gastown Sunday Set car-free series will transform the cobblestone streets of Gastown into a gathering spot with exciting activations.

Check out live DJ sets, an outdoor flower market, an open-air art crawl, and plenty of expanded patios every Sunday until the end of August.
