While those of us who live here on the west coast like to think we have it made when it comes to typically warmer temperatures than the rest of Canada, that doesn’t mean this is always the case.
Just take a look at this Thursday’s weather forecast, and compare it to what our friends in Toronto are experiencing.
According to The Weather Network, temperatures in the Ontario city are expected to reach a high of 20°C, with sunshine, the first hit of warm summer-like weather for the year.
By comparison, Vancouverites can expect a primarily grey and rainy day, with daytime temperatures only reaching as high as 10°C. Yes, 10 whole degrees colder than Toronto.

And while the sun is forecast to return here on Friday, the temperature will remain the same.
After that, it’s two days of rain and cloud before the sun returns again on Monday.
