It's going to feel like 25 degrees in Vancouver this week

According to Environment Canada, Vancouverites can look forward to sunshine and high temperatures for the entire week.

From Tuesday, May 7 to Saturday, May 11, the daily high will range from 20°C to 23°C.

Inland temperatures will be even warmer, ranging from 24°C to 27°C.

Expect clear skies in the evening, with nighttime temperatures between from 10°C to 12°C.

Vancouver also has the potential to break a handful of weather records over the course of this week. Based on data from Environment Canada, dating back to 1937, the historical high temperature for each individual day has the potential to be broken.

In other words, get the sunglasses ready, and it could be time to break out the shorts and sandals soon enough.
