Long weekend weather turns cloudy with a hint of sun

It was good while it lasted! We may have been basking all week in gorgeous sunshine – but it seems even the sun needs a break this Canada Day long weekend.

Environment Canada forecasts Vancouver will be covered in cloud on Friday and Saturday, with sun only briefly making an appearance on Sunday.

Temperatures look set to stay above 20 C though, with highs of 22 C throughout the long weekend.

Accuweather meanwhile, forecasts showers on Friday and Sunday, but predicts the sun may head back into the city early, showing its face on Saturday.
