After generally grey and rainy skies over the past few days — including several Environment Canada wind and rainfall warnings — it appears that things are going to clear up quite nicely in the Vancouver weather forecast, just in time for this upcoming weekend.

According Environment Canada, the city is set to be graced by glorious sunshine on both Saturday and Sunday.

And while the sun will be shining, you’ll still want to keep those warm clothes close at hand, as temperatures during both the day and nighttime hours will be cool.

Daytime temperatures will stay below the double-digits, and temperatures at night could even dip below the freezing mark.

That being said, Canadians – especially here on the West Coast – can expect a milder winter this time around.

According to the Weather Network, BC will see a a milder winter across the province with fewer episodes of arctic air in the Lower Mainland and fewer threats of significant snow in coastal areas and interior valleys.

Still if this is what early December in Vancouver looking like this year, we’re more than happy to take it.
