Spring in Vancouver isn’t quite the same without a healthy dose of rain, and while the early part of April has been filled with sunshine, the weather forecast suggests it won’t last.
According to Environment and Climate Change Canada’s (ECCC) seven-day weather forecast, Vancouver will still get much more sunshine over the next few days, with temperatures hovering around 15°C.
However, this weekend, the weather will take a turn for the wet.

Between Thursday and Saturday, Vancouverites will see a high of 16°C and lows hovering around 4°C overnight. After a mix of sun and cloud between Friday and Saturday, the rain returns on Sunday.
Along with the moisture, temperatures are expected to drop a few degrees during the day, where they’ll hover at around 12°C between Sunday and Wednesday next week.
Despite the lower temperatures during the day between Sunday and Wednesday, overnight lows will be slightly warmer.

ECCC
Saturday could be particularly warm as ECCC says that inland areas could see temperatures warm up to 19°C before the wet weather takeover.
ECCC also predicts fog developing over the next 24 hours, which should dissipate in the morning.
Don’t let this forecast completely dishearten you. As we’ve seen over the past few weeks, in Vancouver, the weather can change in an instant, regardless of what the forecast suggests.
With the weather expected to be nice on Saturday, there’s no excuse not to go out and vote!
