Another long weekend is nigh, but the Vancouver weather forecast is a bit of a mixed bag of coloured eggs.
Before digging into the forecast, in case you’re confused, this (Good) Friday is a B.C. statutory holiday. Some employers may give you Easter Monday off, but it isn’t mandatory.
Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) predicts Friday will be the nicest day this long weekend, unless you prefer wet conditions.

The Vancouver area has experienced great weather over the past few days and will continue until Friday.
Temperatures are predicted to hover around 13 or 14°C, and there is not a drop of rain in the forecast, which is calling for mainly sunny skies. Temperatures are expected to dip quite a bit into the evening, dropping about eight degrees to lows of around 6°C.
Things get a wee bit warmer on Friday, with a predicted high of 15°C and slightly warmer overnight lows of 8°C. Inland, temperatures could potentially hit 20°C, according to ECCC.
Clouds are expected to roll in overnight on Friday, which could be the story for the remainder of the long weekend.

ECCC
ECCC’s Vancouver weekend forecast also calls for a chance of showers on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. ECCC says that there’s a 30 per cent chance of showers for each of these days with a nighttime low of 6°C.
The rain should let up by Tuesday, and we should return to the kind of weather we’ve been seeing over the last few days.
