This weekend marks the first day of spring, but Vancouver’s forecast might rain on the parade.
According to Environment Canada, Wednesday is expected to be the last day of sunshine for the next seven days.
The forecast on March 20, the first official day of spring, predicts a 60% chance of showers around Vancouver.
In fact, the forecast calls for precipitation between Thursday and next Tuesday, making for a wet start to the season.
If it’s any consolation, temperatures over the coming days will be relatively warm, with daytime highs between 7°C and 12°C.
