Vancouver's Vasek Pospisil knocked out of Wimbledon

After making it to the furthest point in a Grand Slam in his career, Vancouver’s Vasek Pospisil has been knocked out of Wimbledon 2015 by the Britain’s Andy Murray, the world’s No. 3 ranked player.

The unseeded Canadian lost 4-6, 4-7, 4-6 to Murray in a match that took two hours and 11 minutes.

As the No 3. seed, Pospisil alongside doubles partner Jack Sock sought to defend their 2014 Wimbledon Men’s Doubles title, but were defeated in five sets against the duo of Jamie Murray and John Peers, seeded 13th, on Monday.
