According to PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) Vancouver ranks as the top city in Canada for vegetarians and vegans. Having traveled to other parts of this country, this really should not come as a surprise to anyone. Vancouver ranked 6th overall in North America with Washington, D.C. placing 1st overall. A bit of a shocker.
