The Vancouver Titans are giving away copies of Overwatch on PC

While the holidays have come and gone, the Vancouver Titans still have plenty of gifts to give.

The Titans are Vancouver’s professional esports team and a recent addition to the Overwatch League (OWL), a professional esports league centred around the Overwatch video game. Created by video game developers Blizzard Entertainment, the game features teams of six competing against each other with a variety of unique characters and on a number of different maps.

The Vancouver Titans joined the OWL in 2018 and will be participating in their third season this coming year. And while an official start to the 2021 season has yet to be announced, the organization wants fans to get to know their new roster a little better.

Here’s an in-depth look at the Vancouver Titans roster, as well as how to score one of 5,000 copies of Overwatch on PC:

Roolf:

Position: Flex Support

Roolf is a BC native and prior to joining the Titans, played on the former North American contenders team Second Wind with Shredlock and Dalton. When he’s not playing Overwatch, he’s either watching TV shows, playing Terraria, or following his favourite sport, hockey.

Dalton:

Position: DPS Hitscan

Dalton hails from Texas and was also a member of Second Wind with Roolf and Shredlock. He’s also a big hockey fan and when he’s not fine-tuning his Overwatch skills, he can be found playing CSGO or practicing the guitar.

Shredlock:

Position: Tank

Shredlock, an Ontario native, is another Canadian member of the Titans. His favourite sport is basketball and although his favourite game outside of Overwatch is Team Fortress 2, he can be found playing all kinds of video games.

Fire:

Position: Support

With experience on both the Atlant Reign and esports franchise Team Envy, Fire is no stranger to the competitive Overwatch scene. He wanted a chance to start on a fresh roster and prove himself. His favourite movie is The Dark Knight.

FRD:

Position: Off Tank

From Atlanta, Georgia, FRD (pronounced “Fried”) was previously a member of the Atlanta Reign as a reserve player. But he believes that given an opportunity to play on a regular basis, he’ll be able to surprise a lot of people. He also played on Second Wind in 2018, which is the same team that Roolf, Dalton, and Shredlock came from.

Linkzr:

Position: Flex DPS

Hailing from Finland, Linkzr is a seasoned performer for professional Overwatch. He spent three seasons as a starter on the Houston Outlaws and has also been a member of Finland’s national Overwatch for three years in a row. To top it all off, he’s an avid streamer on Twitch and previously a pro player for Dignitas playing the game Dirty Bomb.

The Vancouver Titans are also holding a scratch-and-win contest where the first 5,000 entrants will receive a copy of the Overwatch Game code for PC as well as 200 OWL Tokens.
