It’s all fun and games until it’s Throne and Games!
Vancouver TheatreSports (VTS) is back with the final installment of their parody trilogy, Throne and Games – The Last Laugh. Get ready for a literal battle of wits (and more!) to see just who will end up on the Iron Throne.
While you won’t be sitting on a throne yourself exactly, the intimate setting at VTS is sure to draw you into the drama that is Throne and Games. Watch as the final fight for the Iron Throne between the Lannisters, Starks, and Targaryens goes down. Who will get the last laugh?
It’ll be a fight to the funny, as VTS’s talented improvisers take inspiration from the HBO hit show, as well as the audience. Some characters may die, some may come back to life. A zombie dragon may or may not appear. As no two shows are ever the same, the laughs conquer every night, and the ruler changes with every show.
This final run of Throne and Games will be just as fun, if not funnier than the previous shows – so why not make a night of it? Get a group together (bring a group of ten or more and receive a discount on your tickets), choose a side, and see if your house wins – or come up with your own house and volunteer to be that evening’s audience participant.
VTS’s Neil Macrae Bar and Lounge is stocked with alcoholic drinks, non-alcoholic drinks, and light snacks that you can enjoy during the show. No show is complete without a bag of popcorn — so get a bag or two and enjoy the show!
