Nine, based on legendary Italian filmmaker Federico Fellini’s 8 1/2, this Tony Award winning musical tells the story of film director Guido Contini as he faces his greatest challenge: creating his next cinematic masterpiece while trying to balance all the women in his life – including his wife, his mistress, and his muse. From Maury Yeston, the legendary composer of Titanic and Grand Hotel comes this haunting tale of love, loss, and the chance for redemption. Pipedream Theatre Project is thrilled to welcome Director Mike Mackenzie back to the helm after a successful collaboration on 2009’s A New Brain. Joining Mike on Nine are Musical Director Kevin Michael Cripps and Choreographer Meagan Ekelund as well as a top-notch design and production team. Guido Contini will be played by Brian McBride who will face the challenge of holding his own among the 23 beautiful women who round out this talented cast. Among the women Guido must contend with are Kathy Fitzpatrick as Luisa Contini, Madeleine Suddaby as Carla Albanese, Britt McLeod as Claudia Nardi as well as his mother, played by Tristin Wayte and his producer, Liliane Lafleur, played by Deborah Allman.
