Welcome back for the second installment of Street Style. This week I introduce you to Brian. A student who describes his style as “clean and modern”.
From the cuffed jeans to the thick framed glasses, I love the precise attention to detail put into this ensemble. Every layer to Brian’s outfit is able to stand out on its own which makes it perfect for those chilly, yet sunny days we have been experiencing in Vancouver. I love this look on Brian, because he is able to layer classic, key, pieces while also using great neutral tones to create depth to his outfit. When going for the layering look you can take inspiration for Brian’s classic look and use similar tones but, also remember the sun is out and its time to start pulling out those crazy colours out of your closet and start experimenting. Don’t be afraid to go outside of the box and try mixing different textures or patterns to create a real eye catching outfit.
