Vancouver Street Dance Festival at Robson Square

Dec 19 2017, 1:57 pm

The 2012 Vancouver Street Dance Festival celebrates a beautiful part of Vancouver that is completely invisible to most Vancouverites – the street dance culture of our city. They practice at home, in garages, in gyms or at the Robson Square Ice Rink. The festival wants the rest of Vancouver to not only see the skilled dancers and but to also be a part of it. Think of it as the ultimate block party.

Unlike a typical battle/dance show, VSDF will focus on creating a block party atmosphere. They do not want people to sit, watch, and leave. They want to draw people into the party – entertain, educate, and involve. An involved crowd is a happy crowd… and at VSDF this crowd will be able to browse around the vendor booths, enjoy the performances, and sit around good people and great energy while soaking in the sun.

Public Support is Needed to Make This Event Happen

A free public event like this can be very challenging to get off the ground. So this is where you Vancouverites come in. They will only be able to make something like this happen with your support and pledges to help fuel the event. Help them reach their goal of $3000 by making a donation of any size. Your donation will help financially with things like rentals, equipment, and marketing material!
