Vancouver Rogers Santa Claus Parade 2008

Dec 19 2017, 11:44 am

The Fifth Annual Rogers Santa Claus parade takes place on December 7, 2008 at 1pm in Downtown Vancouver. Last years parade was a huge success and this promises to be even bigger and better. This is a definite hit with young and old.

Not only will you get a chance to see jolly old Saint Nick, you’ll also be able to catch a glimpse of Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, Frosty, Rudolph and his crew and a whole slew of other holiday favourites.

According to the official site, the best viewing areas are:

  • On both sides of Georgia Street on the slope between Bute and Broughton
  • At the Vancouver Art Gallery
  • At Robson Square on Howe Street

Crowds have been growing for this parade every year and to accommodate the growing crowds organizers have increased the route. See the map for the entire parade route.

Also if you are able to, make a donation to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society. They could always use your help and not just around the holidays.
