8 food pop-up experiences in Vancouver you can't miss

Apr 21 2021, 6:20 pm

“Pivot” and “pop-up” are probably some of the most commonly used words among folks working in the hospitality industry these days.

While we genuinely miss our regular restaurant experiences, some seriously delicious things have come out of the need to survive, namely, amazing limited-time offerings and local collaborations.

Vancouver restaurants and bars continue to do everything they can to serve us incredible eats and keep their doors open during this trying time for food and beverage businesses.

One of the best ways to do this is a good old-fashioned pop-up.

Here are eight can’t-miss ones to check out in Vancouver while you can.

Tacofino is launching a sandwich and snack pop-up named Good Times on Wednesday, April 21. You can find a menu of handhelds like a Chicken Katsu Sando and a Cauliflower Po’ Boy on the brand’s Gastown patio menu for dine-in, takeaway, or for delivery via DoorDash. A portion of sales from every sandwich purchased for the first week of the Good Times pop-up will go towards supporting the Vancouver Food and Beverage Community (VANFBC).
