Without graphite there would be no Tesla, without fluorite there would be no toothpaste, without copper there would be no electricity and without diamonds there would be no engagements! New minerals are literally fueling the renewable energy sector. While sometimes controversial, there is no denying the mining industry is an integral part of everyday life and Canada’s economy.

However, the metals industries and makers around the world have been in dire straits for nearly three years. The TSX Venture Market, Canada’s Junior public stock exchange, where mining and exploration companies make up 1206 of the 1970 companies is down 74% from 2011 highs. It has regulators and governing bodies seriously concerned.
The Vancouver Resource Investment Conference 2015 on January 18 & 19, has been running for 20 years and brings together the mining investment community for the largest conference of its kind to discuss these issues and create ideas. Most importantly – these leading mineral exploration companies are present to connect and communicate the future of the mineral exploration sector and what it means for Canada’s future. This annual event which takes place every year at the cities flagship Vancouver Convention Centre is open to the public and free to attend with pre-registration.
Over 350 companies will be exhibiting and hundreds of presentations will take place over the two days. Featured speakers include billionaires Ned Goodman, Ross Beatty, along with high profile fund managers Rick Rule, Frank Holmes, Discovery Channels Alaska Gold Rush Star – Greg Remsburg and over 40 more.
