Preliminary reports put Vancouver snowfall at up to 10cm

In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s snowing in Vancouver today.

And it’s not just a sprinkling either. Metro Vancouver is getting a dumping. In fact, according to preliminary recordings by Environment Canada, Metro Vancouver has received between 2 and 10cm already, with the North Shore getting between 5 and 15cm.

To put that into context, the all time record for snowfall on December 5 is 15.7cm which was set all the way back in 1942.
