The largest Pride parade in Western Canada returns to downtown Vancouver this weekend, and local residents and commuters are being warned of several road closures to make way for the festivities.
Over 100,000 attendees are expected to line the streets for the 47th Vancouver Pride Parade on Sunday, Aug. 3.
Expect some historic changes to the Vancouver Pride Society-hosted event in 2025, as it will be taking a shorter route and travelling in an east-to-west direction — the opposite direction of what people are accustomed to.
