The Vancouver Police Department (VPD) is investigating a shoplifting incident in which a suspect allegedly pushed a pregnant woman in the West End.
According to information shared by the VPD, the incident occurred on Sept. 10 at around 11:30 a.m.
Police say that a man stole merchandise from a convenience store located near Davie and Thurlow Street. VPD said that a pregnant employee attempted to intervene, and the suspect allegedly pushed her when making his escape.
VPD has shared CCTV images of the suspect, who is wanted in connection with the incident.

Police noted that they believe the same individual in the photo is responsible for a previous shoplifting incident at the same location. Police have not shared any details about what was stolen or the value of the stolen items.
